This is where it has to work.

A vessel in a working kitchen is not a display piece. It gets filled, carried, washed and knocked about every day, by people who did not choose it. It has to survive that, and it has to be replaceable without the table looking mismatched.

What a property actually needs

Weight that lastsSpecify a heavier gauge for service use. Thin pieces dent early and look tired long before they fail.
Like-for-like replacementBreak six, order six, and they match the sixty already on the floor. That is the whole point of a specified run.
Finish that survives washingThe interior treatment is chosen for what the piece holds and how it is cleaned, not for how it photographs.
Sizes that suit serviceCapacity chosen for the pour and the table, not for a catalogue photograph.

Ordering for a property

Most properties start with a small quantity of two or three pieces, put them into service, and come back for the full order once the staff have used them for a few weeks. We would rather you did that than commit to a hundred of something that turns out to be the wrong capacity.

Once a piece is approved we keep the specification against your name, so a replacement order six months later is the same piece and not an approximation of it.
